I felt mildly weird when I woke up this morning only to realize that I was dreaming of designing a plated dessert. Everything in the dream was so vivid and precise, down to which garnish I should use to complement the flavours and texture of the dish. Can this be a sign that I should start some serious baking again? It has been a while, after all.
I recently purchased some camping equipment that I am very pleased with. First was a set of camping cookware with anodized coating. The set includes three lidded pots and a frying pan, all fit together into one compact package smaller than a soccer ball. The set is intended for 4 to 5 people which seems to be a bit on the large side to me. However, I don't expect to go camping by myself anyway so the size is probably just right. With all these cool pots and pans, of course I want a nice fire for cooking. Well, I'm the first to admit that I am a born and bred city girl who can't start a fire. As a result, I also bought a mini-range that is absolutely adorable.
Come to think of it, I've accumulated quite a catalogue of camping equipments over the years. All that're missing are a tent and a lamp. If I only have an excuse to go camping now...
